3. Installation
Install Z Drive
Attach assembled Z drive to the base plate and secure with M3x8 BHCS screws.
Insert an M3x12 SHCS screw into the hole as shown in the picture.

Motor Z Wiring
Plug the male connector of the Z motor into the female connector (labeled Z).

Install Z Column to the Base Plate
Attach the Z column to the Z joint base block.
Preload four M4 nuts into the right slot of the extrusion. We will use two nuts in this step and other two in the following steps.
Cover right Z joint plate and secure with M4x10 BHCS screws.

Insert Teflon Tube
Insert about 12mm teflon tube into the middle hole of the extruder mounting bracket.

Install the Extruder
Insert the teflon tube through the hole of the extrusion.
Align the extruder with the preloaded M4 hex nuts and secure with M4x8 BHCS screws.
Plug the male connector of the E motor into the female connector shown in the image.

Position the Zip Tie Holder
Align the zip tie holder with the indicated hole. Secure with an M3x8 BHCS screw.

Install the Front LED PCB
Install M3x6x5 heatset inserts into the printed front bumper as shown in the picture.
Place the front LED PCB onto the front bumper and secure with M2x6 BHCS screws.

PCB Wiring
Route the wires of the front LED PCB under the linear rail and plug the connector into the indicated male connector.

Prepare the Printed Parts
Install M2.5x3x4 heatset inserts into the printed parts as shown in the pictures.

Install the Fans
Install the bone grills to the printed parts. Each side panel needs a small and a large finsh bone grill.
You can add some glue to increase the stickness.
Position the fan with 40mm wire onto the front right side panel. Position the fan with 200mm wire onto the front left side panel. Secure them with M2.5x14 BHCS screws.

Install the Front Left Side Panel
Place the front left side panel to the base plate.
Route the wire under the linear rail and plug the connector of the fan into the indicated male connector.
Install M2.5x10 BHCS screws from the bottom of the base panel.

Install the Back Left Side Panel
Insert the cables through the holes of the back left side panel.
Install the panel to the back side of the base plate and secure with M2.5x10 BHCS screws.

Power Cable Connection
Plug the female connector of the power switch cable into the male connector.
Insert the pins of the power inlet cable into the corresponding colored terminals.

Install the Front Right Side Panel
Position the front right side panel to the base plate.
Secure with M2.5x10 BHCS screws.

Install the Back Right Side Panel
Position the back right side panel to the base plate. Plug the connector of the fan to the indicated male connector.
Secure with M2.5x10 BHCS screws.

Install the Light Guide Strips
Slide the light guide strips into the side slots next to the linear rail.
Secure with M2.5x6 BHCS screws.

Bed Cable Connection
Plug the bed cable into the BED terminal.

Install the Rear Cable Panel
Place the printed rear cable panel to the base plate.
Secure with an M2.5x10 BHCS screw.

Route the Belt
Insert the open belt with teeth upward around the lower idler and the pulley, up through the idlers and into the slot as shown in the picture.
Route the other end of belt through the outer side of the idler up to the top idler and insert it into the printed part as shown in the picture.

Prepare the Top Covers
Remove the film on the top covers.
Install M2.5x3x4 heatset inserts in the position shown in the image.

Install the Top Covers
Place the top covers next to the linear rail and on top of the motors. Make sure the holes are aligned.
Put the front Y axis bumper plate onto the head of the top covers.
Secure with M2.5x10 BHCS screws and an M2.5x6 FHCS as shown in the picture.

Install Pulleys to the Motors
Insert the set screws into the pulley.
Position the pulleys to the X and Y motors and fasten the set screws.

Install the Idlers to the Covers
Place an M3x8 wafer head screw into the ilder, and put a shim washer on top. Four sets are needed.
Position the idlers to the indicated places and fasten the screws.

Install Idlers on the Rear Idler Tensioner Block
Place an M3x12 wafer head screw into the idler and a shim washer on top. Two sets are needed.
Place the ilders on the printed rear idler tensioner block and fasten the screws.

Add a Hex Nut
Add an M6 hex nut in the indicated position.

Install the Right Upper Top Cover
Put the LED diffuser cover inside the printed LED cluster retainer.
Apply some glue on the edges. Put the retainer to the cover.
Put the right upper top covers on.

Secure the Top Covers
Put the printed left and right panel cornerstones on the top covers.
Insert M2.5x10 BHCS screws in the holes indicated with red arrows and M2.5x6 BHCS screws in the holes indicated with yellow arrows.
